This coffee is produced by El Injerto, one of the most awarded farms in the Cup of Excellence Guatemala for the last 10 years (with 8 times in 1st place!)
Located in the Huehuetenango Plateau, near the famous Sierra de los Cuchumatanes in Guatemala, the farm is located at over 1900m above sea level. It is at these heights that the most delicate and exotic varieties such as the Geisha are planted. El Injerto is known worldwide for their exceptional coffees because they always end up at the very top each time they present one of theirs at the Guatemala's Cup of Excellence competition. The Guatemala 90 is a great example of their notoriety, as it came out a gold medal winner for best coffee of this year (2021) with a cupping score of 90.51!
This washed Geisha named El INjerto 90 gives you a bright and vivid explosion of fruits with flavors ranging from lychee and other exotic fruits to juicy peaches and sour wild berries. It all ends with a sweet and delicate notes of honey, maple syrup and milk chocolate that completes well this unique and winning tasting experience.
