Bella Carmona is an exceptional blend from the central region of Guatemala, specifically the Antigua Valley. Composed exclusively of dwarf Bourbon cultivars, this coffee is the result of the meticulous work of Luis Pedro Zelaya and his team at the Bella Vista washing station. They personally supervise the 18 contributing farms and monitor each stage of production to ensure impeccable quality, perfectly reflecting the unique volcanic terroir of the region.
The Antigua Valley, with its volcanic soils and rich history of coffee production, provides an ideal setting for coffees with complex flavor profiles. Classic flavors of caramel and lemon intertwine with distinctive notes, thanks to the diversity of microclimates and altitudes. This harmonious blend of terroir and know-how makes Antigua a pillar of specialty coffee in Guatemala.

At Bella Vista, the coffee cherries are carefully sorted and follow a rigorous process. The cherries are first pulped and then fermented in tanks overnight. They are then washed and left to dry on patios, which preserves the aromatic richness of the coffee. This particular microlot is distinguished by the precise selection of the “B300” variety from different farms.

This coffee by Luis Pedro Zelaya is a symphony in the cup. Sweet notes of caramel and honey mingle with lively lemon and aromas of stone fruits like plum and cherry. Elegant touches also evoke a Negroni, with nuances of gentian, pomelo and orange zest. Versatile, this coffee lends itself equally well to filter extraction or to creating coffee-inspired cocktails.
