Mauro Cesar Naimeg runs Fazenda Londrina, one of the three farms of the Naimeg Group, which has been growing coffee since 1938. Located at an altitude of 950 m, the farm covers 394 hectares, 190 of which are planted with coffee trees. The temperate climate (21 °C on average) allows for flowering from September to October and a harvest from July to September. The main crop is Catua. í , as well as varieties like Paraiso, Topazio and Mundo Novo.
Treatment
This coffee has been processed naturally, a common process in Brazil that involves drying the whole cherries in the sun, thus preserving the fruit's sugars and enhancing the aromas.
Sensory profile
Fruity and sweet profile, with notes of tropical fruits , berries and chocolate . On the palate: silky body , marked sweetness and low acidity . An expressive coffee, with a gourmet and complex finish.
