Description
producer
Kebede and his family have been producing coffee in the village of Wogida in the famous Yirgacheffe district since 2009. This area is world-renowned for its black tea, stone fruit, and citrus cupping notes. To think that Kebede initially targeted only the local market, nothing more, and that a decade later, he found himself victorious in Ethiopia's Cup of Excellence in 2020 demonstrates a story of ambition and passion! Since then, the coffee market has been longing for his coffee.
profile
Kurume is one of the regional varieties native to the Yirgacheffe region. As with many regional varieties, the names applied to the coffee varieties are borrowed from those of the indigenous trees. In the cup, complex aromas of stone fruit, lemon, black tea, rose, honey and milk chocolate emerge.
