COCOA PROCESSING SPECIALIST (in the making)

Job Description

Under the direction of operations, the main responsibilities of the incumbent will be to carry out the various stages of chocolate manufacturing (from the cocoa bean to the chocolate material) while respecting the high quality standards of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor chocolate production equipment, ensuring efficient and quality production.
  • Participate in the chocolate processing stages, from roasting the beans to making pastilles and bars, applying quality standards.
  • Apply food safety procedures and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Perform manual tasks requiring good dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes and ensure production deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food production is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical condition, able to lift moderate loads and stand for long periods of time.
  • Meticulousness and attention to detail and the cleanliness of his work environment.
  • Organizational skills, resourcefulness and strict compliance with company regulations and procedures.
  • Developed team spirit and understanding of the role of supporting operations management.
