Job available: Accounting technician

Hello, the team and I are looking to fill a position!

This position is that of an accounting technician .

The selected person will be responsible for the proper management of the accounting cycle of all of our operations and follow-up with the rest of the external accounting team.

This person will carry out administrative tasks concerning employees, customers, suppliers and financial partners.

She will support the management team by assisting them in their respective budget monitoring and in the production of various documents necessary for the sound financial management of the organization.

OVERVIEW OF TASKS + RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process purchases and certain fund entries with Dext software
• Process the Dext box (purchase/sale) for classification in QBO
• Follow up with commercial customers who have professional accounts and ensure that accounts receivable are up to date
• Deposit checks and store sales
• Following the deposit, make sure to associate the transactions in QBO
• Monitor the cash registers of the two physical stores and ensure that the file balances for the rest of the accounting team
• Make payroll entries
• Update inventory information
• Track project costs in QBO
• Manage petty cash
• Manage cash registers and POS terminals
• Carry out bookkeeping in collaboration with the accounting team
• Make occasional contacts with customers as needed
• Perform certain customer service-related tasks as needed
• All other assistance tasks to management and the accounting team

SALARY

$19.85 - $34.85 depending on salary scale
