producer

The Huaches Zurita family has owned the La Lucuma farm since 1984. Initially, the farm covered 2 hectares and in 2005 it was expanded to 6.5 hectares. From the beginning of coffee cultivation on the farm, the focus was on producing high-quality coffee. Due to the altitude at which the farm is located, varieties such as caturra, typica and pache were grown. The passion for quality and the ambition to become a leading producer nationally led to the introduction of 0.5 hectares of the Geisha variety in 2017, marking a turning point for the farm.

process

This Peruvian washed coffee is hand-picked, then the cherries are pulped. The beans then ferment in vats to remove the mucilage. After fermentation, the beans are washed with water to remove residue, then sun-dried on patios or raised beds.

profile

La Lucuma Geisha coffee delivers an exquisite taste experience worthy of its Cup of Excellence silver medal with a score of 90.68. On the palate, it reveals delicate notes of juicy peach, mixed with the floral aroma of jasmine and the sweetness of honey. Caramel brings a rich depth, while touches of lemon and lime add a lively and tangy freshness. Vanilla and lavender on the finish extend this sensory experience, creating a balanced and elegant cup that embodies the purity and complexity of this exceptional coffee.
