Producer
Third-generation grower Oscar Tinoco Madrid heads the Pino de Oro farm in the Santa Bárbara mountains. Since 2004, he has revitalized this isolated farm, winning the Cup of Excellence in 2011 and recently distinguishing himself with a fourth place for his Geisha, which he has been planting for four years.
Processing
This coffee is processed using the natural method: the cherries are dried whole in the sun on drying beds, regularly turned over for even drying. This process infuses the beans with sweet, fruity notes before hulling.
Sensory profile
This 90 points rated natural Geisha has a vibrant floral profile, blending jasmine, hibiscus and rose with fruity accents of strawberry, lychee and mandarin. Touches of peach, lemongrass, honeydew melon and white grape add a delicate, balanced sweetness.
