Many subscribers to our newsletter have indeed given us feedback on our blog post which praises Japanese Cold Brew: many have asked us to give the more conventional infusion method a chance. Well, so be it.
Here is our favorite among the different methods of presenting iced coffee: the Japanese Cold Brew. It uses the usual filter coffee technique (pouring hot water over ground coffee contained in a filter). The difference is that ice cubes are placed in the carafe which will collect the coffee: the aromas freshly extracted from the bean are as if "frozen" by the cold. The subtle notes and aromas of the exceptional terroir - fruity and acidic and/or bitter - are almost entirely intact.
