Although it is not our favorite, because it does not allow a real "origin coffee" experience, cold brew or full immersion cold brew coffee is still a choice of drink that we recommend for the summer season. To quench your thirst, while getting into the "Arabica fiesta atmosphere"! Many subscribers to our newsletter have indeed given us feedback on our blog post which praises Japanese Cold Brew: many have asked us to give the more conventional infusion method a chance. Well, so be it.

Here is our favorite among the different methods of presenting iced coffee: the Japanese Cold Brew. It uses the usual filter coffee technique (pouring hot water over ground coffee contained in a filter). The difference is that ice cubes are placed in the carafe which will collect the coffee: the aromas freshly extracted from the bean are as if "frozen" by the cold. The subtle notes and aromas of the exceptional terroir - fruity and acidic and/or bitter - are almost entirely intact.

In recent months, I have worked on setting up a coffeeshop, which opened its doors on April 21. It's always a pleasure for me to support a promoter who has had the coffee bug, but when the opening is located in Gaspésie, the project becomes for me an act of resistance.

We have just added to the website, for coffees from the Classic and Prestige collections, an option for minimalist packaging. You will then just have to select this option so that the coffee will be packaged in a less sexy bag, made of kraft paper like the ones we use in grocery stores for bulk but without the plastic interior lamination and without tin-tie.
